Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited program in Emergency Medical Services
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year working as a paramedic for a licensed EMS agency preferred
- Current, valid Wyoming EMT-P license
- Current, valid driver’s license and be eligible for IMH liability insurance
- Current valid National Registry of Emergency Medical Techs (NREMT) certification
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment with IMH
- Current valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six (6) months of hire and must maintain throughout employment with IMH
- Current valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six (6) months of hire and must maintain throughout employment with IMH
- Certify in a de-escalation program as approved by IMH within the first six (6) months of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment with IMH
- Maintain current Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator. Emergency Vehicle Operations Course – Ambulance certification within six (6) months of employment
- Current, valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within the first twelve (12) months of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment with IMH
- Annual completion of yearly required CEU's required
