The Sales Manager Energy Storage Solutions is responsible for driving localized business development and market expansion for battery energy storage solutions in South-East Europe. The role owns the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract closure and payment, while building long-term customer relationships and a regional sales network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales of ESS, PCS, EMS, or related energy storage solutions
- Proven experience managing ESS projects independently across the full project lifecycle
- Strong understanding of ESS architecture (battery cells, BMS, PCS, EMS) and ability to interpret technical specifications
- Solid knowledge of international trade practices, including INCOTERMS 2020, L/Cs, performance bonds, and export credit insurance
- English: C1 (professional working proficiency); other European language is a plus
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with hands-on deal-closing capability
- Ability to independently manage opportunities from lead generation to payment collection
- High level of execution focus; comfortable working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including access to senior decision-makers and C-level contacts
- Ability to quickly understand and adapt to regulatory, subsidy, and grid-code changes in the region
- Resilience and flexibility to operate under high travel intensity and multicultural settings
