Material Handler

Material Handlers are responsible for supplying workstations and material racks, operating equipment, and transporting finished goods and scrap. They maintain a clean work environment, and use a variety of tools and knowledge of safety protocols. This role requires a team-oriented attitude and a commitment to safety.

Requirements

• Pass the necessary testing for equipment licenses (lift truck and/or tugger license)
• Maintain a team-oriented working environment
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• Familiar with FIFO protocols
• Ability to use various types of tools
• Demonstrated knowledge of PPE and Safety Systems
• Demonstrated sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability
• Knowledge of lockout/tag out process
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of resins, materials and packaging products
