Job Description
JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way. The Chief Engineer will oversee the efficient, safe, and responsible operation of all building systems and equipment at Rush University Medical Center. The role demands technical expertise in multiple craft areas and the ability to lead a team of engineers and maintenance staff.
Requirements
- Valid Stationary Engineers License in the City of Chicago
- 7+ years of related experience, especially as a Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, or similar role
- People management experience (leading a team)
- Universal CFC EPA certification
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
- Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or drive
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Lead and demonstrate a safety-first culture
