Backend Engineer - NodeJS

Role Overview

This role sits at the core of building and scaling high-performance backend systems that power real-time, data-driven event technology used globally. You will design and develop robust Node.js services that handle large-scale data processing, integrations, and API-driven architectures.

What You Will Do

Design and develop robust Node.js services, develop, test, and maintain efficient and reusable backend services, design and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, optimize database interactions, implement security, authentication, and data protection best practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in backend development with strong proficiency in Node.js
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and MySQL databases
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and/or GraphQL development
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks
• Familiarity with Docker and AWS is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, backend frameworks, and web architecture principles
• Experience using Git and modern CI/CD workflows
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
• Understanding of SDLC, secure coding practices, and code review processes
