Role Overview

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for owning and scaling the accounting function within a fast-growing, investor-backed SaaS environment. The Controller will ensure the integrity of financial reporting while driving operational excellence across close processes, systems, and internal controls.

What You Will Do

Own and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP standards while maintaining strong internal discipline across the accounting function. Lead financial reporting activities, including preparation of SaaS-focused metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, bookings, and deferred revenue in partnership with FP&A.

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting experience (Big 4 or equivalent strongly preferred). Experience in a private equity-backed SaaS or high-growth technology environment with strong exposure to subscription-based business models.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or equivalent strongly preferred)
• Experience in a private equity-backed SaaS or high-growth technology environment
• CPA certification preferred
• Deep hands-on experience with NetSuite
• Strong understanding of SaaS KPIs such as ARR, churn, bookings, and EBITDA
• Proven ability to improve processes, automate workflows, and enhance financial systems at scale
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
