Senior UX/UI Designer

Role Overview

This role offers an opportunity to shape meaningful digital experiences for mission-driven organizations working in areas such as health, education, climate, and social justice. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will lead the creation of intuitive, visually compelling, and user-centered web products that help nonprofits and advocacy groups amplify their impact.

What You Will Do

Lead the design of digital experiences across websites and web-based platforms, including UX flows, wireframes, visual comps, and UI components. Translate strategy and content requirements into clear sitemaps, user journeys, and scalable design systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, digital product design, or web design, ideally within an agency or client-facing environment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX workflows, visual design, and end-to-end digital product execution
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience building wireframes, prototypes, and design systems
• Solid understanding of UX principles, including usability, accessibility, information architecture, and content hierarchy
• Experience working with developers and understanding how design translates into front-end implementation
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to clients and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output under deadlines
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and familiarity with content structures is a plus
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Agency experience and familiarity with Agile or Waterfall workflows is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a user-centered design mindset
