Staff Software Engineer

Role Overview

You will design and scale critical systems that support clinical teams, families, and internal operations across a rapidly evolving platform.

What You Will Do

Lead the design, development, and scaling of modern software systems that power clinical and patient-facing products, ensuring performance, reliability, and usability across the platform. Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications, APIs, and backend services supporting clinical workflows and patient care.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to full-stack development
• Proficiency in modern technologies such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong understanding of web application architecture, including frontend, backend, APIs, and system integration layers
• Experience designing and deploying scalable applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and influence engineering best practices
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments with evolving priorities
• Healthcare or virtual care experience is strongly preferred but not required
• Mobile application experience (iOS/Android deployment) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven and iterative engineering mindset
