Head Counselor, Residence Life

The Head Counselor (HC) is a student staff member at The Juilliard School, assigned to the Meredith Willson Residence Hall in the Summer Dance Program. The HC is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of participants, ensuring the community's success and serving as a role model for both campers and staff. HC's schedule is flexible, and they anticipate 20+ hours per week of regularly scheduled responsibilities. This position is designed to support the Juilliard School's mission of artistic excellence and inclusion.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leadership, extracurricular activities, or summer camp programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and community engagement ability.
• Proficiency in enforcing policies and procedures.
