The Juilliard School is seeking a hardworking and adaptable Carpenter to join their growing team. This part-time position involves construction of scenery, installation of stage elements, performance support, and general theater maintenance. The position requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and adherence to the school's policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a stagehand or equivalent in a performance/theatrical setting.
• Working knowledge of theatrical knots (e.g. clove hitch, bowline, trucker’s hitch, etc.) and practices.
• Ability to keep scheduled commitments.
• Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Understanding of rigging/flying safety protocols.
• Willingness to participate in Juilliard’s inclusive policies.
