Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant - Banking Operations and Credit Specialist to join our team at Julius Baer. As an experienced banking accountant, you will play a key role in managing daily accounting tasks and driving the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
Requirements
- Advice, development and monitoring of sub-ledgers within the relevant business areas
- Actively participate in projects aimed at optimising and automating accounting processes
- Collaborate in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports
- Provide expert support related to internal and external audits
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across departments
- Participate in the testing, implementation, and rollout of new functionalities in SAP and core banking systems
- Support in ensuring data quality and further developing internal controls
- Provide training to employees and prepare user documentation
- Support the individual locations worldwide from a financial accounting perspective
- Ensuring consistent adherence to internal control systems
