Ground Up Superintendent (Commercial Construction)

Our client is a highly sought-after General Contractor in hyper growth mode seeking an experienced Ground Up Commercial Construction Superintendent for multiple projects in the Las Vegas, NV area.

Requirements

• Managing the day-to-day field activities to ensure project milestones and schedule completion date is met
• Creating short-interval look-ahead project schedules
• Managing project site safety plan
• Establishing and maintaining dimensional controls
• Verifying work is installed in a workmanlike manner
• Obtaining inspections and documenting quality aspects of physical work
• Ensuring project compliance with contract terms and legal requirements
• Administering client specific programs
• Conducting and/or attending pre-construction, progress and other project and staff meetings
• Managing self-performed activities to ensure work is performed within established project budget
• Managing changes in project scope
• Administering contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and other agreements
• Managing punch list and project closeout process
• Maintaining daily paperwork such as timecards, field reports, schedule updates and Email correspondence
• Providing timely and cordial interaction with supporting work groups
• Complete project schedules for proposals, review estimates, assist in creating proposals, participate in interviews, etc.
• Engaged in marketing and obtaining projects
