Job Description
Assistant Teacher is responsible for the care and development of children in a preschool setting, planning and implementing a curriculum that meets Head Start Performance Standards, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
- Associates Degree
- 24 ECE core units in Child Development/Early Childhood Education with a California Child Development Teacher Permit or higher
- At least one (1) year of experience working with children in a preschool classroom setting
- Annual Physical exam and TB Clearance
- Criminal Background Clearance
- Child Abuse Index Clearance
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
