Job Description
Job Summary: A Senior Estimator at Kaufman Lynn is responsible for preparing budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for construction projects. The role involves performing quantity takeoffs, soliciting and analyzing subcontractor pricing, and developing unit costs. The Senior Estimator will work with the project management team to establish a bidders list and provide information to senior estimators/senior preconstruction managers.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in estimating
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
- Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to read and understand contracts
- Outstanding and professional oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
