Senior Software Engineer

Join KBR's National Security Solutions team as a Senior Software Engineer and work on high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions for the intelligence and national security communities. Design and develop software prototypes and applications, engage with stakeholders, and participate in the complete software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required for this position
• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other degrees with relevant work experience
• 3-6 years of software development experience with strong understanding of the software development life cycle
• Experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with Javascript frameworks such as Angular or React
• Experience with web applications with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and others
• Familiarity with GitLab or other Tools for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong passion for conducting research, tackling complex problems, and continuously learning and adopting new technologies
• Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
