Water Treatment Plant Lead/Chief Operator (Contingency Hire)

The Water Treatment Plant Lead/Chief shall have responsible charge of both the water treatment plant and the water distribution system, including supervising all other persons who are employed to operate the plant and distribution system. The role is essential for operating, maintaining, and supervising all personnel and equipment involved in producing, treating, and distributing quality drinking water.

Requirements

• Monitors water flushing, water sampling, and water testing.
• Supervising the operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment.
• Have responsible charge of both the water treatment plant and the water distribution system.
• Supervise all other employees employed to operate the plant and distribution system.
• Prepare reports on plant operations, compliance, and incidents, including the Monthly Operating Records (MOR) Report.
