This internship will support manufacturing operations through process analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role includes assisting with troubleshooting equipment and processes, participating in quality and safety programs, and contributing to various engineering projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Basic understanding of Engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
- Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical problems
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and rectify issues that may arise in the manufacturing processes
- Understanding of Engineering software tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar from coursework
- Knowledge in areas like Lean Manufacturing Tools such as 5S, PM, eMaint, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in teams to collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, Operators, and other Team members
- Initiative and self-motivation to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
