Assembler I

Assembles electromechanical devices, such as solenoids, basic wound coils, and electromagnets, according to prints and router instructions.

Requirements

• Ability to use fixtures, machines, presses, and tools
• Cutting and routing wires using hand tools
• Testing wire assemblies using an ohmmeter or resistance tester
• Staking units, adjusting springs, and shafts to meet specifications
• Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
