Job Description
Kemper is seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer with over 10 years of experience in enterprise software development, architecture, and modernization to support the Life Insurance Line of Business (LOB). The ideal candidate will be proficient in VB/.NET, ASP, C#, PL/SQL, Angular, and have secondary expertise in PostgreSQL, Python, and Generative AI.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development and architecture
- Strong expertise in VB/.Net, ASP, C#, PL/SQL
- Proficient in PostgreSQL and SQL optimization techniques
- Experience developing in and deploying to AWS cloud environments (EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, etc.)
- Proven ability to implement CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Hands-on experience with SonarQube for code quality and static analysis
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell for automation and environment setup
- Exposure to Python and Generative AI platforms (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI APIs)
- Strong understanding of enterprise security, scalability, and performance best practices
- Experience in the Life Insurance or broader financial services domain
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Agile/Scrum experience with strong collaboration and communication skills
