Field Service Technician

KRC Machine Tool Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform machine tool servicing, repair, and operation. The role requires travel up to 100%, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. This is a 100% travel position with a focus on customer support and independent work.

Requirements

• Advanced machine tool knowledge and terminology
• 3 or more years of experience in machine tool field service
• Associates degree in electronic engineering or related field of study
• Full understanding of multiple machine tool specifications
• Mechanical hand tools and tool box
• Basic knowledge of parametric programming and ladder logic
• Intermediate knowledge of Renishaw Ballbar and Renishaw Laser Calibration equipment (desirable)
• Basic knowledge of applications processes and programming
• Working knowledge of applications processes and programming
• Working knowledge of CNC controls and functions
• Dependable transportation
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities
• In-depth understanding of CNC controls and functions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
