Senior Commercial Analyst

Role Overview

We are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly close reports, actively participating in budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting budget planning for SG&A and internal reporting.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing internal sales and gross profit reports, preparing and analyzing latest thinking P&L, and assisting in preparing for cluster financial review. You will also be responsible for strategic business cases analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements, and participating in local and regional special projects.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 4-6 years of finance experience, preferably in an FMCG company. You should have an undergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent, sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals, and advanced command of both oral and written English.
