Hardware Quality Engineering Specialist

Requirements

• Maintain robust quality management practices to ensure compliance with industry standards, and internal processes throughout the satellite subsystem development lifecycle
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to assess potential suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and establish quality requirements for components and materials used in satellite subsystems
• Lead investigations into non-conformance issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure they do not recur
• Develop and implement inspection and testing procedures to verify the quality of manufactured components, sub-assemblies, and final satellite systems
• Proactively identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans to address quality and reliability concerns in the satellite subsystems
• Provide training and support to team members to foster a culture of quality and compliance in the organization
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and regulations related to satellite manufacturing and quality assurance in a fast-paced agile environment
