R&D Software Engineer

Role Overview

Join Keysight's engineering team in Santa Rosa, California, and work on challenging projects as a member of a team that gathers requirements, analyzes, designs, prototypes, develops, and tests software, firmware, and applications for Vector Network Analyzer products.

What You Will Do

Design, implement, test, and document new software solutions, review and understand customer requirements, write regression system tests, participate in design and code reviews.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other engineering discipline
• Working knowledge in building, testing, and debugging software
• Ability to work in a team, with multiple customers/partners, and across geographic boundaries
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design
• Working knowledge of C++
• Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation, or Git source control
• Embedded system programming experience
