Electrical Engineer - MEP

Role Overview

Kimley-Horn's Austin, Texas office is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their MEP team. This role will support the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team on large scale HVAC design and lead the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for MEP projects.

What You Will Do

Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn offices. Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals. Assist in mentoring, training, and growing a team to expand our MEP practice.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in an Electrical Engineering role
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Understanding of the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, IEEE and ANSI Standards
