Maintenance Tradesperson

Role Overview

The Night Shift Maintenance Fitter is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the machinery and equipment in the plant. The maintenance fitter ensures that all lines in the plant runs smoothly and safely.

What You Will Do

Inspect, diagnose, repair and replace mechanical components of various machines and equipment, perform routine and scheduled maintenance tasks, respond to breakdowns and emergencies, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Demonstrated experience as an industrial Fitter, preferably in food manufacturing, sound knowledge of mechanical principles and operations of various machines and equipment used in food manufacturing, and high regard for safety, food hygiene, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Mechanical/Trade Certificate
