Medical Laboratory Technician

Klickitat Valley Health is seeking a casual Medical Laboratory Technician to join their Laboratory team. The position offers varied shifts and requires a Medical Technologist certification, a Two-year Diploma degree in Medical Technology or a life science field, and current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist certification. The MLT will perform complex test analyses, process specimens, and report results to physicians. The position is eligible for a casual differential.

Requirements

• Minimum two-year Diploma degree in Medical Technology or a life science field
• Certification through ASCP, AMT, NCA, or equivalent certifying agency required
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist certification required
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Minimum six (6) months' Laboratory work experience preferred
