Test Automation Engineer I

Role Overview

The Test Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automated testing solutions to enhance product quality, strengthen CI/CD processes, and support reliable software releases. This role is suited for someone with strong problem-solving skills who is committed to improving test efficiency and driving continuous quality improvements. The role is part of the KNAPP Group, a global provider of intelligent automation solutions for intralogistics and manufacturing.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, implement automated test suites, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to improving automation KPIs. Document automation approaches, maintain test artifacts, and support internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to test automation
• Intermediate experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
• Demonstrated understanding of modern software development technologies and design practices
