Job Description
The Terminal Operator at the Cincinnati terminal is responsible for performing general labor tasks, unloading barges, loading trucks, and performing basic maintenance, while following all safety guidelines and adhering to safety regulations and established operational procedures.
Requirements
- Safety-minded; ability to demonstrate a good safety record
- Good troubleshooting abilities (mechanical and electrical)
- Ability to communicate with managers, other employees, and 3rd-party individuals in a variety of methods (in person, or electronic communication)
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Previous experience working on the river with barges is a plus
