Laboratory Specimen Processor

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our team at Henry Ford St John in Detroit, MI. The role involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, accurately identifying and labeling specimens, and meeting department activity and production goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year or more of experience in a medical or production environment
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
