The impact you’ll make: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Controls group as a Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (EE, ECE or related disciplines).
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in hardware design and development.
- Strong expertise in with Mixed signal and high-speed hardware design and development.
- Proficiency with at least one major EDA tool suite for schematic capture and layout design (e.g., Cadence Allegro, Dx Designer).
- Extensive experience of circuit design using DSPs, Processors, SoCs and FPGA, including PCIe, DDR, and multi-gigabit SerDes, analog/digital I/Os, Power supply,
- Proficient in signal integrity (SI) & Power integrity (PI) principles, design optimization, EMI",EMC compliant design, Qualification testing.
- Hands-on experience on communication protocols, like EtherCAT, CAN, UART, SPI, RS‐232, RS‐422/485, Ethernet (TCP/UDP), and LonWorks.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in hardware and firmware domain.
- Proficient in using lab equipment for system bring-up and debug, such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.
- Practical experience in hardware/software integration, testing and documentation for embedded products.
