Boiler & Refrigeration Mechanic

The B/R Mechanic operates, installs, repairs and rebuilds boilers, refrigeration systems, and other related systems.

Requirements

• Start up, operate and shut down of boiler, refrigeration and auxiliary systems.
• Maintains equipment by tightening fittings, repacking bearings, replacing packing glands, seals, gaskets, valves, recorders, gages, and cleaning or replacing other components.
• Communicates with supervisors, and is capable of reading and understanding operating instructions, logs, and technical manuals.
