Curriculum Consultant, Indigenization Specialist

The Curriculum Consultant, Indigenization Specialist provides expertise, support, and guidance in embedding an awareness of Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing into instruction and curriculum at Langara. Reporting to the Department Chair, Teaching and Curriculum Development Centre (TCDC), the Indigenization Specialist is part of the TCDC faculty and works closely with academic departments, the Indigenous Education & Services department, and the Centre for Intercultural Engagement.

Requirements

• minimum of a master's degree with a preference for a specialization in Indigenous Education or a related field
• three or more years of working in an Indigenous-focused higher education setting
• three or more years of teaching or working directly with Indigenous pedagogies
