Senior Buyer for tooled components in North America, responsible for supporting global purchasing initiatives and delivering cost savings opportunities.
Requirements
- BS Degree in related field
- Technical understanding of tooled components (plastic, rubber, metal)
- Understanding of purchasing commodity management
- Ability to close out open issues in a timely fashion
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation capabilities
- Supplier relationship management
- Ability to collaborate with leaders across many functions and regions
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales and Program Management
