Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Linux)

Role Overview

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Linux), you will work at the heart of our robotic platforms, developing and improving Linux-based embedded systems that are essential for the performance, reliability, and scalability of our robots.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and improving our Linux-based embedded robotic platform, configuring and integrating Linux systems, and supporting the integration of new hardware platforms.

Requirements

• Completed HBO or WO degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical direction
• At least 5 years of experience with Linux-based embedded systems and software development
• Experience with Linux kernel development, including configuring, building, and debugging kernels
• Knowledge of hardware architectures such as ARM and x86 and insight into their impact on embedded software development
• Experience with programming and scripting languages such as C, C++, Python, Bash, or Makefiles, and affinity with software quality and test-driven development
• Experience within multidisciplinary Agile teams and a structured, critical, and constructive way of working
