VEL - Avionic DASS/MS System Engineer

Leonardo is seeking an Avionic DASS/MS System Engineer to contribute to the development and integration of protection systems and related sensors for the C27J platform. The successful candidate will define system requirements, evaluate supplier proposals, and manage the development and qualification process.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering (preferably Politecnico Torino / Milano)
• Junior level experience
• Experience in defining design requirements for complex electronic systems (avionics, mission systems)
• Knowledge of main sensors (RWR, MWS, LWS) integrated into protection systems and peculiarities of integration.
• Knowledge of main avionics communication buses (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, serial)
• Excellent knowledge (B2 or higher level) of written and spoken English
