Role Overview

Drives vacuum truck to transport various fluids to assigned locations, inspects truck and tank to ensure safe and reliable operating condition, and loads and unloads tank according to prescribed procedures.

What You Will Do

Performs pre-trip, roadside, and post-trip truck and tank inspections, operates tank pump to load and unload brine, drives vacuum truck on paved and unpaved roads, and maintains U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) hours-of-service logbook and inspection records.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Class A commercial driver's license with no restrictions, and valid Department of Transportation medical examiner's certificate. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, good interpersonal skills, and flexibility with duties and work schedule are also required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Class A commercial driver's license with no restrictions
• Valid Department of Transportation medical examiner's certificate
• Hazardous Materials Endorsement and Tank Vehicle Endorsement
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
