Job Description
This role is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of automated or computerized control systems and auxiliary equipment such as boilers, pumps, compressors, etc. and assisting the facility to meet production targets by maintaining high standards of preventative maintenance and timely repair of production machinery.
Requirements
- Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Operate automated or computerized control systems and auxiliary equipment
- Preventative maintenance and trouble shooting on compressors
- Monitor and inspect plant equipment
- Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunctions
- Troubleshoot and perform corrective action and repairs
- Clean and lubricate pumps and compressors
- Maintain a daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities
- Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures
- Monitor and visually inspect station instruments, meters and alarms
- Issue work to mechanical maintenance personnel
- Assist maintenance and technical personnel to locate and isolate system problems
- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed on all production mechanical machinery
