Job Description
Lake Havasu City is offering paid Firefighter/Paramedic/Paramedic/Firefighter training programs with the opportunity to obtain certifications in Firefighter/Paramedic. The program has been revised to accommodate COVID-related changes and offers a path to becoming a certified Firefighter/Paramedic. Openings are available for both trainee and trainee-eligible candidates.
Requirements
- Arizona Paramedic Certification OR National Registry Paramedic Certification
- Firefighter I & II Certification issued by a recognized State or Federal Certifying agency
- FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC TRAINEE SALARY RANGE: $19.37 - $27.32/Hourly; DOQ
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Current valid CPAT certification (or acceptance of a Fire Academy course) within 12 months of offer acceptance
- Active Driver's License
