The Set-Up Technician (SUT) ensures quality products through proper machine and tool setup. The SUT engages in safety leadership, exhibits ownership and urgency over department production, and follows processes and procedures to produce quality products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot machines and equipment
- Knowledge of manufacturing process of assembly and machining
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to learn new specifications and procedures through on-the-job training and experience
- Able to communicate both verbally and written forms to various levels within the organization
