Analyst II Master Data

Role Overview

The Master Data & Costing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of SAP master data, including Bills of Materials (BOM), routings, and inventory data. This role supports costing processes by validating and analyzing data, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues impacting product cost and operational performance.

What You Will Do

Maintain and validate master data in SAP, review and challenge engineering changes, define and validate routing rates, perform inventory analysis, troubleshoot issues, and support cost accounting activities.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand technical and engineering terminology
• Strong communication skills across multiple functional levels
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and organizing data with high accuracy
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions and macros) and MS Office tools
• Experience with SAP or ability to quickly learn and become proficient
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving multi-level BOMs and cost structures
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams
• Willingness to challenge data and processes using facts and root cause analysis
• Experience with SQL or database concepts is a plus
