Job description
The Field Application Engineer (Automotive) will drive new business by understanding market trends and customer needs, and will be the primary technical contact for OEMs and 1st Tier engineering to support the application of all automotive fuse products.
The role will involve working with sales to identify new global opportunities for fuse products/projects, supporting internal projects and initiatives, providing technical training, and conducting assessments of competitive products.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of HEV/PHEV/EV structure, particularly battery protection and relative system and components, and will be able to work and learn on new Current Sensor, PPTC technologies mainly for High Voltage applications.
