Van Driver

Provide door-to-door transportation of Little City participants and perform routine vehicle checks and care.

Requirements

• Transport participants by picking up, transporting and dropping off at their scheduled location.
• Assist participants with getting in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain transportation logs and records according to established policies and procedures.
• Operate vehicle safely including observing speed limits, local traffic regulations, and Little City policies and procedures.
• Report any participant safety, mechanical or operational problems immediately to the supervisor.
• Keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean.
• Take vehicles for safety vehicle inspections, maintenance repairs, refueling as needed or if requested.
• Maintain a good driving record.
• Serve as a positive role model for individuals served.
• Maintain American Heart Association certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Successfully complete Little City required training, re-training, and any additional training as required by Little City Foundation policies and practices, or as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
• Attend staff meetings when required.
