The Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules.
Requirements
- Support the inbound and outbound operation
- Unload trailers by hand
- Move furniture with dollies and pallet jacks
- Ensure outbound picked furniture matches invoice before loading into contractor’s vehicle for delivery
- Ensure that outbound furniture does not have any damages or flaws
- Prepare customers’ orders monitors and ensures that outbound furniture is properly assembled
- Use proper lifting techniques: lift, push, stooping twisting, bending
- Use RF Scanners to scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
- Must be able to consistently lift/move products up to 100 lbs.
- Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Meet company standards for productivity
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Able to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changes
