Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We're looking for a strong DevOps professional with a solid software or database engineering background to lead, direct, and shape approaches to solving technical challenges and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for supporting build and deployment processes for applications on both Private and Public cloud – API based, event driven, batch processing. You'll focus on the DevOps elements of the software engineering role, helping us to deploy software regularly and smoothly while continuously improving and developing our processes.

Requirements

• Strong Software Engineering and pipeline background preferably Java based
• Proven experience and understanding of modern engineering practices
• DevOps Tools (CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, GIT, Docker Containers)
• Test Automation Tools Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, Postman
• Passion for collaborating with other engineers and building a strong team culture
• Proven experience innovating in automation to improve resilience, release frequency and promoting a DevOps culture in delivery teams
• Exposure to cloud technology – ideally GCP
