Job Description
As a Designated Coordinator, you will oversee program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities. You will provide guidance, encouragement, support, comfort, security, and safety to each individual, and advocate for their health and wellness needs. You will also supervise Direct Support Professionals, manage accounts payable and payroll records, and develop positive working relationships with counties, families, and community organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Services
- One year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
- Driver's license
- CPR certificate
- First Aid (when required) and medication administration training
- Training in supervisory skills, team building, and leadership
- Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) clearance
- Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record
