Senior Software Engineer, PowerBI

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Engineer with strong experience in designing and delivering interactive dashboards, reports, and data models. This role requires expertise in Power BI and familiarity with other open-source visualization tools, along with a solid background in data analysis and data modeling. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in BI development and data visualization
• Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, performance tuning)
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and visualization (e.g., Pandas, Plotly)
• Familiarity with open-source visualization tools (Dash, Plotly, Apache Superset)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and integration with Power BI Service
