Structural Steel Loader / Overhead Crane Operator

Role Overview

Join our structural steel fabrication shop team as a hardworking individual. Physically fit and dependable, you'll work in an industrial environment. We're looking for someone who can load structural steel, operate a 10-ton overhead crane, and work safely in a fast-paced shop environment.

What You Will Do

Load structural steel onto flatbed trailers, operate a 10-ton overhead crane, climb on and off high flatbed trailers daily, cut and carry 4x4x8 lumber, scan and track steel pieces while loading, and work safely in a fast-paced shop environment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We're looking for someone who is physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. Overhead crane experience is preferred, and a NYS CDL-A license is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years old
• Physically fit and able to handle demanding work
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Comfortable working at heights on trailers
• Experience using scanners/technology for tracking materials
• NYS CDL-A license a plus
