
Job description
Our team supports the Macquarie Asset Management Chief Financial Officer and broader business across the region, focusing on the operational impact of new products, transactions, business acquisitions and disposals, and oversight of the balance sheet and profit and loss.
Analyse and document key judgements related to asset and liability valuations, impairment testing, and financial reporting accuracy. Work closely with onshore and offshore teams, as well as external auditors and business stakeholders, to reach agreement on accounting outcomes. Contribute to improving financial processes and controls.
Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent, 3+ years’ of experience in finance in a large, complex organisation or with a Big 4 accounting firm, strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
