Job Description
The Divisional Behavioral Health Director serves as the behavioral health expert for the division, supporting Director of Social Services, Deputy Director of Social Services and each Divisional Social Services Director with guidance and oversight on program activities and services. This role provides clinical oversight for programs that include clinical services (substance use/mental health), supports compliance and program reviews, leads divisional trainings, and offers as-needed clinical supervision for specialty programs and clinical interns.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, or Clinical Psychology
- Active LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist credential
- Minimum two years post-licensure experience to supervise at the highest level
- At least five years of leadership experience in behavioral health settings
- Demonstrated experience with Medi-Cal/CalAIM/Medicaid billing and compliance
- Proven ability to supervise clinical staff and interns
- Experience in program development and strategic planning for behavioral health services
