The Salvation Army is seeking a Food Program Specialist to coordinate the Food Recovery and Food Pantry program. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, inventory management, and social service.
Requirements
- Ability to speak and write English at a high and professional level
- High degree of confidentiality
- Able to endorse and promote The Salvation Army's mission
- Experience in food service, inventory management, warehousing, social service/work, and/or related experience preferred
- Experience in driving DOT Regulated Non-CDL vehicles and operating forklifts
- Computer literate, in Windows environment (Microsoft Office), Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Food Handler certification
- Valid California Class C Driver License
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
